At Dynamic Kitchens and Interiors, we are honored to have been featured in the Jan-Feb 2021 edition of Home & Garden, Wilmington Magazine. They recognized our work with homeowners Becky and Bob Underwood in remodeling their kitchen, including extending it by seven feet to create more space for storage. We take pride in being a renovation design and build team who is able to handle even complex kitchen remodeling projects for our customers in the Wilmington, North Carolina area.

If you would like to see what we accomplished for the Underwood family, take a look at the “Salty Dog Kitchen” photos here!

The homeowners had a Sherwin Williams paint color in mind called “Salty Dog” – the deep blue used on the island gives the room a focal point and a great departure from the white cabinets along the perimeter. The Wilmington Magazine article covers the other aspects of this kitchen remodeling project. Let us know what you think or if you would like us to design something similar for your kitchen!

If you have looked at 2021 as a year to improve your home, you aren’t alone. It is not uncommon for kitchen remodeling projects to involve overcoming storage shortages. Families tend to require more storage space now than in the past. One reason is the desire to make fewer grocery shopping trips by purchasing groceries for more than a week at a time. Another reason is that more meals are being prepared at home, requiring more groceries to be purchased. The solution for added storage space is modern kitchen cabinet design with one or two pantries. Since we are a renovation design and build team, we can create added space through layout changes and expansions to accommodate the extra cabinetry.
